Dato' Dr. Kantha Rasalingam

Dato’ Dr. Kantha is a distinguished neurosurgeon with over two decades of experience in clinical practice, healthcare leadership, and medical education. He earned his MBBS from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, India in 1997, and soon after joined the Malaysian Ministry of Health. In 2006, he completed his postgraduate neurosurgery examinations, marking the beginning of a career defined by excellence and innovation. 

 

Currently, Dato’ Dr. Kantha serves as Head of Neurosurgery and Consultant Neurosurgeon at Prince Court Medical Centre in Kuala Lumpur. He has a special interest in spinal surgery and has completed advanced fellowships and clinical attachments in Malaysia, Japan, and South Korea.

Beyond clinical practice, he plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of neurosurgery across the region.  

He is the: 

• President, Neurospine Association of Malaysia 

• Immediate Past President, Neurosurgical Association of Malaysia 

• Immediate Past President, ASEAN Neurological Society 

• Honorary Lecturer, Universiti Sains Malaysia

Dato’ Dr. Kantha is also deeply committed to education and capacity-building. He regularly conducts spinal surgery courses for postgraduate trainees and serves as an honorary lecturer at Universiti Sains Malaysia. Whether leading surgical teams, mentoring future specialists, or driving healthcare innovation through Mudah Healthcare, Dato’ Dr. Kantha brings vision, expertise, and a relentless commitment to improving patient outcomes.
